Proposed Cell Tower Front Page News

See the Norwich Bulletin article -HERE-.
It appears that Mr. Rich finds himself at the center of a dispute regarding the proposed cell tower on Prospect Street. I find his rationale pretty interesting in that if the tower doesn’t go through he might have to sell off some land for houses- nice threat- with the present and looming economic issues let me know how that goes for you Fred.  Why does the article neglect to mention the rest of the connections between the Rich’s and the Town? Hmmmm-  As usual less than half the story- typical.

Great post Mr. Adminstrator! Don't y'all forgit that Woodstock offers large landowners a couple of significant tax breaks under PA-490 and the Tax Abatement ordinance. In addition, many of these farms have been in families for years and do not have mortgages. So their land is essentially their 401k and they have the right to do what they want with it. They can "sell" it or they can "cell" it. I don't care what they do with it! None my darn business! But please. Please don't come crying to us workin' class taxpayers for anymore support or tax breaks!

I have been living in a fantasy land I guess? I had a preconceived notion that farmers were earth people. Tree huggers, nature lovers who nurtured the land producing a living and food for its neighbors. They carried on their heritage and represented the family they came from. Grandpa Rich must be rolling in his grave.

The Rich get richer and the people and generations to follow will have to live with the monstrosity placed by the Rich family. Methane gas tanks and cell towers destroying the majestic beautiful farm land that once was. That’s one way to keep out the builders, who would want to live around that neighborhood?
