I got the heads up on this on the Cool Justice Report this morning. I have written about Howard Zinn in this previous article. Mr. Zinn wrote the People's History of the United States.
The People Speak is a production appearing on History Channel this evening and will be repeated. It includes Howard Zinn and a host of celebrities reading from his book at a performance a few years ago at the Cutler Majestic Theater in Boston.
I was wrong when I said that this prior article was the best history lesson you will ever receive- live and learn.
The History Channel website includes a study guide and idea book for teachers.
