Put Up or Shut Up
It was pleasant not dealing with the blog for a few days. This sort of break in the action will become more frequent as the weather gets better as I’m going to play more golf & tennis this year. You can subscribe to the blog on the right column if you get tired of checking in. This function of the website is blind to me and I don’t have access to those emails; therefore, you remain anonymous.
After some thought, I have decided to leave the video of the BOE meeting on its own rather than comment. I am going to break into digestible pieces with appropriate labels in the next day or two. Frankly, the meeting wasn’t that important in the big scheme of the budget process. It is however, a shining light on this Board and administration and how they function (or better said: don’t function) and it makes where everyone stands crystal clear. This will become a popular video nearer election time.
I see that John and Becki Leavitt are up to their old tricks over at Aljazeera misleading the sheeple with plenty of rehashed propaganda and childish personal attacks (Playbook #’s- 4, 5, 6 & 7). Three year old spending data doesn’t apply anymore folks (Playbook #’s- 22 & 25).
And we have Kevin Ford opening his mouth just long enough to change feet.
Let me see if I can put it in terms the enlightened ones or even a ten year old can understand:
The knee jerk up in spending in 2006/07 and beyond negates John Leavitt’s entire argument over on Aljazeera. What else needs to be said?

Hey, maybe we’re on to something here! So, here’s the deal folks: A few more people need to step forward for the audit committee, how about some folks from the Aljazeera crowd? They seem like they want to be somebody around here; Dr. Fusco is ready to go.
If I’m wrong I’ll let the Leavitt’s do the stuffing on the Town green and I’ll tape and broadcast it myself. If I’m not, the Leavitt’s apologize publicly and the Café goes away permanently. The deal stands- put up or shut up.

This will never happen the Caf'e is as close to communism as you can get in the United States. I am horrified after visiting the site to think some of the people who run and participate in it are connected to the children of Woodstock. The way they attack the you and this site and ridicule people, this is how they set an example for children and teens. They like to brag about how many "hits" they get, well I know many are outraged parents of the area.
The Leavitt’s would blame it on the the anonymous, however, by the ADMIN admitting, "The Café estimates that there may be as many a 600-1000 people visiting frequently or infrequently by assessing the number of different Internet Protocol (IP) addresses that are recorded by our StatCounter, and hits on our BrightEgg server". This lie tells the whole story.

You lack integrity, if you disagree with something you should voice an opinion and not belittle others who have the courage to post under there own names. This petty, immature tiff between core groups from both sites prevents either side from presenting accurate, unbiased statements, analysis, arguments or any type of rhetoric worth reading from the perspective of an outsider - that is, those very people who you are all trying to convince (after all, I hope you realize that these respective tirades will never convince or dissuade your true believer opponents). If you have no chance of persuading them, are you merely writing to solicit yet more of this smarmy self-congratulations 'mutual admiration society' which permeates this site?
I mean, when I read a statement like "...the Caf'e is as close to communism as you can get in the United States." I simply don't know what to think - is it meant to be a joke? Is it serious? Truly? AS CLOSE as you can get!?! I read similarly ultra-extreme statements every week on BOTH sites. EACH side portrays the other as the most extreme type of treasonous, harmful and untrustworthy group of people alive on the planet. EACH side chronically (and incorrectly) over-uses superlatives, hyperbole and exaggeration. EACH side insinuates that the other side spouts nothing but pure propaganda and does not have the interests of town citizens and children in mind, but rather are sneaky impostors trying to gain power to fulfill their true agenda of destroying this town, and especially harming children and students. Each side is guilty of some of the most petty and personalized arguing I've seen online - and, btw, this same crap has been going on for literally 30 years that I can remember. Where's the progress from all of this? What are the goals of biased statements and attempting to harm opponents personally?
How can you all fail to see the often ridiculous level of extremism most rhetoric framed as opinion has become? How can you all fail to understand that, with regard to those of us who would truly like to read un-Biased, objective and accurate articles which would properly educate us on all of these topics (and let us decide for ourselves!), we have NO trustworthy source of information? The information coming from both groups is NOT to be trusted. What we have are two groups who seem more intent on harming each other while blocking their ears to any criticism and yelling at the top of their lungs with the hyperbole and ultra exaggeration of arguing grade school children. Who should I believe and why?

Long time no see. I'm going to give you the short and sweet version from my perspective. I highly disagree with most of your statements as they pertain to this site. I do not see the examples of the things you mention here on Truth. What you do see is everything backed with facts- video, numbers, etc.
Secondly, as I said before, I will not let ridiculous personal attacks go unanswered. As far as Ann's comment, you'll need to ask her.
Lastly, I'm waiting for my challenge to be answered via 'Put Up or Shut Up'. I'm not holding my breath because they cannot win that challenge and we both know that. Other than my recent offhanded comment in the aforementioned article, for me it's like they no longer exist. I hope this answers your question.
