Four Questions From the BOE

The BOE has put forth the following four questions with regard to the budget presentation:

What is your reaction to the proposed cuts?

Do you feel that the BOE should focus more on retention of small class sizes, retention of programs, or infrastructure needs?

Do you have any brainstorming solutions you can contribute?

What are your general questions related to the budget?

If you would like to tell them what you think and cannot attend the meeting, the district fax number is- 860-928-0206 or email wpsdist@mindspring.com

I guess I would be interested in why personal raises are more important than children's education. I think for the most part they make a pretty good pay check, benefits are great and they have all summer off. They can't accept the thought of a wage freeze in a recession, lots of other people are sacrificing! Why can't they? They are that selfish? More buses? They have 5 extra now?  Changes need to be made in Woodstock Schools.
