It's That Time Again...
Next week marks the opening of the season…budget season that is, with a BOF meeting on Tuesday (1/20, CANCELLED) and BOE on Thursday (1/22, WMS 7:00pm).
This is a great time to familiarize yourself with the BUDGET PROPAGANDA PLAYBOOK (PDF), if you haven’t already. Print it out and bring your copy to follow along, or if you can’t make it, stay tuned for video as available right here…it’s your money- you might want to pay attention to the game that is about to be run on you and your wallet. Just for educational purposes, the cost to send Woodstock 9-12 students to Ellis Technical High School is the cost of transportation only. The tuition is paid for completely by the State of Connecticut. So 25 Woodstock Students are paid by the State and the Woodstock District keeps the money.
