Beware of ‘Big Dog’ at the Transfer Station
Yesterday we were made aware of an incident at our local transfer station. It was reported that a citizen who is known for seeking truth was repeatedly verbally abused & accosted by ‘Big Dog’ regarding ongoing events, this included an incident of bumping during this encounter. This was confirmed by transfer station staff. I guess politics in Woodstock really is a contact sport, literally.
It would appear that the seeking of truth is making some folks uncomfortable as it may expose some issues that continue to be denied by those involved. Is it coincidental that the FOIC docket was set on Wednesday concerning Mrs. Paul’s redacted notes? See them -HERE-
The notes I speak of were first supplied to our former First Selectman with the bottom of the second page redacted amid denials of involvement and spending of tax dollars in creation and pursuit of the Academy (Breen) proposal. These were first denied to the complainant for not being relevant to the meeting referenced in the request. The second request was denied on the basis of Attorney/Client privilege. What is amazing about this "Big Dog" is that he has been the bully at the DTC, the P&Z, behind the Town hall during voting and now the transfer station. I think the Town figured out how to dump the Big Dog and he is now like a rabid dog biting at anything. The amazing part of Big Dog is that everything he accuses CPS of doing is something he has done repeatedly. Big Dog wrote the play book on intimidation of everybody from people coming to P&Z and those working in the Town Hall, to people who served on the DTC. His golden rule? His way or the highway....he got the highway...even his own party abandon him. He singlehandedly put the DTC back 15 years when it could have shown leadership. The Town figured the old guard was less dangerous and put them back by a sound margin. This Big Dog is just a neutered puppy.
